A Little Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Ian! I was born and raised in Iowa, and grew to really like it here. Back in my hometown of Storm Lake, Iowa, I went to St. Mary's High School and was involved in basketball and golf. My parents and grandparents have always been huge Cyclone fans, so it was inevitable that their affinity for Ames would rub off on me. I am currently attending Iowa State University and majoring in Advertising. I had originally started my college career with studying Criminal Justice (which is now my minor) but found that advertising was what I was most interested in. Currently, I am working as a landscaper for the university's Facilities Planning and Management organization on top of school, and was also involved with the GENRE club. This club was made up of a large group of individuals that would get together throughout the semester, form bands, and perform at houses, on campus, or venues around Ames. When I have free time, I'll visit friends in town or drive down to Des Moines, play my instruments, or take it easy at home.
